Frédéric FINA

A Doctor in Molecular Biology, he worked for over 25 years as Technical Director of a technological platform in the field of oncogenetics for the Public Assistance of Hospitals of Marseille (AP-HM).

Notably, he was a pioneer in France in 2003 for obtaining ISO15189 certification for molecular biology analyses. In 2013, he structured a high-throughput sequencing platform (NGS, Junior 454 Roche Diagnostic). Before his departure from AP-HM in 2021, he structured a methylome analysis platform (IScan, Illumina).

He then contributed, as an associate and Scientific Director, to the success of the company ID-Solutions, which managed to establish itself during the SARS-Cov2 crisis as one of the main suppliers of PCR test reagents in infectiology in France. ID Solutions was ISO 13485 certified in 2022. He took the lead in Marseille of the ID Solutions Oncology subsidiary, which is now expanding the company’s activities into in vitro diagnostics in oncology.

Co-inventor, with Alain Biancotto, of the patent on which GENARO is developing its process, he is also co-founder of the company where he serves as CEO and Scientific Director.

Alain BIANCOTTO

Co-inventor, with Frédéric FINA, of the patent on which GENARO is developing its process, he is also co-founder of the company where he serves as Director of Information Systems.

He previously worked for 28 years at CARSAT Sud-Est as Head of the IT Department, in charge of the design and development of projects and infrastructures.

GENARO now benefits from his proven expertise in programming, development, project management, infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity, as well as his extensive experience in management.

Michel JOUVE

A specialist and trainer for nearly 20 years in consulting and supporting innovative projects, he is a co-founder of GENARO alongside Frédéric FINA and Alain BIANCOTTO.

With a Master 2 in CCA (Control, Accounting, Audit) and 16 years of experience as a Mission Manager in an accounting firm, he holds the position of Administrative and Financial Director at GENARO.

He oversees the deployment and sustainability of the project across financial, accounting, and legal aspects.

Gabriel FINA

A Microfluidics Engineer, a graduate of the “École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie (ENSC-PSL) as well as the” École Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles (ESPCI-PSL) in Paris, he has acquired strong expertise in various fields at physico-chemical interfaces within prestigious internationally recognized research institutions.

Notably, the École Normale Supérieure (ENS), as a seconded research engineer at the Pierre-Gilles de Gennes Institute for Microfluidics (IPGG). But also in the laboratories of Umeå University in Sweden and Reijkuniversiteit Groningen in Holland.

With his skills in chemistry, physical chemistry, microfluidics, and numerical modeling, he works at GENARO as an R&D Engineer.

The scope of his missions notably includes the establishment, coordination, and management of scientific projects carried out by the company.

Abigaëlle GROS

After a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology and Biological Engineering, then a Master 2 Pro in Health Biology (specializing in Pharmaco-toxicology), she completed her studies with a Level 1 animal experimentation diploma.

She first worked as an Assistant Engineer at the Cancer Research Institute of Lille (IRCL), then for several years as an engineer at the Cancer Research Center of Marseille (CRCM). She then joined a Molecular Biology team at AP-HM, followed by a Research team at the Timone Faculty of Medicine.

She will join GENARO full-time in January 2025, bringing her rigorous expertise as Laboratory Manager.

Pascal ASSENS | Ingénieur Développement Informatique | GENARO

Pascal ASSENS

Holder of a DUT in Communication Services and Networks and a Master’s in Information Technology, he has held numerous positions as a software development engineer, teacher, and manager of many R&D projects.

A recognized expert in Artificial Intelligence, he contributes part-time his skills to the development of the encoding/decoding algorithm which is at the heart of GENARO’s process.

Head of Financial Strategy

Camille SCHAEFFER

Holder of a DU in Genetic Counseling, a Master 2 in Finance, a Master 2 in Human Resources, and a Master’s in Psychology, she is responsible at GENARO for implementing the financial strategy with Michel Jouve.

Bruno PERRIN-TURENNE | Responsable Communication & Marketing | GENARO
Head of Com “& Market”

Bruno PERRIN-TURENNE

A Communication and Marketing specialist, he worked for nearly 15 years as an artistic director in major advertising agencies. He worked with brands as varied as Green Giant, Häagen-Dazs, Orangina, Mattel, Amora, Signal, Aoste, Friskies, and Michelin.

He then continued his career as an independent consultant for numerous companies. A journey that allowed him to develop dual expertise in creative direction and client management.

He joined GENARO in September 2023 to bring his skills in all areas of Marketing and Communication – including the “ecosystem of digital tools and techniques, from analysis, strategic design, positioning, and brand discourse, to” the design and creation of all visual and editorial materials.
