As a DNA CODEC algorithm, NATAN operates at both ends of the process: it encodes information into unique nucleotide sequences that are synthesized as ARIADNA and introduced into each biological sample as early as possible in the pre-analytical phase, or even at collection. After sequencing, it automatically discriminates, identifies and authenticates each ARIADNA. It can then decode all the information carried.
